Implementing the sales and marketing policies and procedures within the company, and providing frequent reports to the management
Duties and Responsibilities
Studies the General Trade and ensures no loading or excess of products are in place, Ensures that the customer card golden rules are followed accurately
Checks backroom stocks very thoroughly and updates customers on the status of the business on a monthly basis specially ones that qualify for a discount.
Conducts all sales call steps from Journey planning to collection and provides customer service support by providing creative ideas and recommendations to customers at store level for better sales execution.
Conducts minimum of 5 successful sales calls per day, generates pre-orders and submits to Sales operation for execution and delivery
Ensures that in-store merchandising and display of our products are visible and in good facing positions
Analyzes work performance of hand held terminals through the hand held management reports.
Develops a checklist for daily activities and requirements in terms of Fact book, cards, score cards, agreements, POS Material…etc, and assumes full responsibility for all material in terms of confidentiality and breach of confidentiality.
Develops frequent sales and development reports by store showing all opportunities and areas of growth and exhausts all efforts to exceed the preset targets.
Checks on expiry reports and conducts spot visits to stores checking expiry, layout, space allocation, promotions, hygiene and other indicators as per policy, providing customers with solutions and alternatives to any product issues as expiry or any other.
Continuously collects data from market related to brands’ performance, competition prices, trading policies, consumers’ feedback, etc.
Performs routine checks on all products shelf life time, advises customers on lifetime remaining and suggest tangible and cost effective steps to liquidate.
Creates a Scorecard for drivers to monitor accuracy of delivery and timing, maintains direct follow-up with drivers to ensure customers are being served on a timely manner.
Provides customer development techniques by promoting new products and new SKUs to the customer and supports the customer to get more sales and revenues.
Develops a customer development proposal and get support from the Management to execute it.
Represents the Company at the customer level with professional attitude and looks.
Not more than 35 years
Diploma in business, Marketing or a related field
A minimum of four years in Sale in the same capacity
Preferably has worked as a Sales Executive or in similar position with similar responsibilities.
Valid Qatar Driver’s License (Manual) .
Skills, Capabilities and Languages (Optional)
Full understanding of the English language
